Pranayama Teacher Training Courses in India

Understanding Yoga
Yoga is the union and integration of every aspect of a human being, from the innermost to the external. Through diverse practices like Raja, Bhakti, Karma, and Jnana Yoga, it nurtures holistic well-being by fostering mental clarity, physical strength, and inner tranquility.
What’s A Teacher-Training Course (TTC)?
At Yoganga Healing, we try to aid your path of yoga in-depth through our focussed teacher training programs that go on for two weeks - with
12 days of practice, 1 day of rest, and a concluding ceremony.
A Teacher Training Course will cover all the basics that you need to advance in your journey of taking on yoga for personal development or becoming a credible yoga teacher - guiding you towards
advanced knowledge of yoga
using ancient texts originated in India.
What is Pranayama?
Pranayama is the fourth limb of Ashtanga yoga, according to Patanjali Yoga Sutras - a primary resource for understanding yoga.
01 | Term
Pranayama comprises the root words "Prana" meaning breath or life force, "yama" meaning control or discipline and "ayam" which means expansion.
02 | Meaning
Translations of the meaning of pranayama include "expansion of the life force through regulation of breath".
03 | Purpose
Pranayama serves to eliminate mental obstacles, paving the way for greater clarity and wisdom.
What happens when you practice Pranayama?
Excessive thoughts and uncontrolled emotions often obscure our clarity. These mental and emotional patterns create energy blockages, leading to tension and restricted breathing in specific lung regions, disconnecting us from a complete experience.
Through freeing up our breath, permeating every cell, we
energize and channel Prana, resulting in
clearer thinking, relaxation, and holistic healing.
Pranayama practices eliminate energy blockages within the subtle energy pathways, enabling the flow of Prana into the Sushumna nadi, thereby
opening the 7 chakras in the body.
Benefits of Practising Pranayama

What's In It For You?
Here’s what you get when you enroll into our Pranayama Teacher Training course and why it’s worth coming all the way down to Rishikesh:
01 | A Detailed Manual
The terms “chakras”, “yoga”, “yamas”, “asana”, “prana”, or “mantras” flood people’s minds when they sift through the internet or in discussions - but their true meaning often gets hidden.
When you join our Pranayama course at Yoganga Healing, we provide
a detailed guide that explains Yogic concepts in great depth to help you on your spiritual journey during and after the course.
02 | A Personalized Experience
At our centre, learning comes first. Yoga can take years to master, and to make the most out of your 14-day session, it is essential that we make sure all students understand the concepts of prana, the right way to perform kriyas and asanas, or the meaning behind each mantra they are taught to chant.
We try to keep our groups small, and have teachers to accommodate the needs of every individual on the common track defined by the Pranayama Curriculum.
03 | Deep and Authentic Knowledge
We try to touch the roots behind what we teach and redirect you to the right resources to further your knowledge.
Our knowledge comes from renowned ancient texts
